Before you buy a Devon kitten:"

  • Remember that cat is not a toy, you can give back to the shop;;
  • Cat lives long and Devon cats develops a strong attachment to his owner, so you should remember that adopting a cat is a great responsibility. For example you have to take care about cat during your vacations;
  • Ask yourself if there are any person with cat allergy in your family. Contrary to common opinion that Devons are cats safe for allergy sufferers, their saliva causes allergy the same way as the saliva of any other cat breed (the cause of allergy is a cat’s saliva);
  • Ask yourself if you accept that cat will accompany you all the time in all your everyday activities?;
  • Ask yourself if you agree that cat will sleep in your bed?;

    If you answered Yes on all questions above then you can join the happy community of Devon Rex cats owners.

    Breeder responsibilities:

  • Make sure that your new cat is clean and healthy;
  • If your new cat appears to be ill, wait until previous breeder cure the cat;
  • You should not take (or give) cats that are younger than 12 weeks;
  • Cat should have a pedigree and health certificate with annotations about inoculations (2 times) and about purging worms (3 times);
  • Previous breeder should inform you how to care of and feed your kitten and could also offer useful advices in case of any problems;
  • Previous breeder will be happy to know, how your kitten feels, grows and learns, so inform him (or her regularly);
